The Root Cause Coalition announced the addition of a third day to the Third Annual National Summit on the Social Determinants of Health.
Due to the overwhelming interest from potential speakers, educators and researchers, the summit will now officially begin at 12:00 noon CST on Sunday, October 7th (pre-conference registration opens at 11:00 a.m.). The Sunday agenda will feature two illuminating sessions on social determinant interventions: The Food Is Medicine Institute for Payers, Providers and Policy Leaders and the Place-Based Investing Institute. Among the speakers at these two institutes will be representatives of Coalition members Community Servings, God’s Love We Deliver, Project Angel Heart, MANNA, AARP Foundation, Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation, ProMedica, LISC, Solera Health, and Project Open Hand.
