We are excited to announce that the website for our 4th Annual National Summit on the Social Determinants of Health has been launched and would like to officially invite you to register for this year’s event. This year’s National Summit will be held in San Diego, California on October 20-22, 2019. To emphasize the urgency of the work being done to address health equity, the theme for this year’s Summit is “Health Equity in Our Time”. By working collectively we believe we can, and will, reach our common goal of achieving health equity in our time.
Our National Summit is an annual opportunity for leaders from across disciplines – healthcare, community and national non-profits, the faith community, researchers, government leaders, educators and businesses – to learn how to improve health and well-being through meaningful collaboration. Previous Summits have had more than 600 in attendance and we expect to exceed that in San Diego as the agenda will feature leaders who have transformed their communities by partnering to address the root causes of poor health – creating a safe place to live, access to affordable and nutritious food, a network of social support, access to reliable transportation, and the opportunity to receive a quality education.
If you would like to join us at this year’s National Summit for an exciting and informative few days in San Diego, please click here to register. A discounted early bird registration rate is available through April 15th.
