The Root Cause Coalition is honored to announce that the Children’s Hospital Association and Mom’s Meals are now members.
The Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) is the national voice of more than 220 children’s hospitals, advancing child health through innovation in the quality, cost and delivery of care. CHA champions policies that enable children’s hospitals to better serve children; leverages its position as the pediatric leader in data analytics to facilitate national collaborative and research efforts to improve performance; and spreads best practices to benefit the nation’s children.
For more than 20 years, Mom’s Meals has designed and provided refrigerated meals to any U.S. address. The organization supports the nuanced stages of life by catering to individuals’ nutritional needs. Mom’s Meals believe health should be accessible to all, and it begins with the very meals we eat. Their Registered Dietitian and Chef designed meals are nutritious and great tasting. They put choice in the hands of their customers, offering a broad selection of entrees to support common health conditions from tailored menus, including heart-friendly, diabetes-friendly, renal-friendly, lower sodium, cancer support, gluten free, vegetarian, pureed and general wellness.
Barbara Petee, Executive Director of TRCC, commented “TRCC’s commitment to address health issues across the lifespan is strengthened with the addition of Children’s Hospital Association and Mom’s Meals. We are excited to learn from their expertise and continue our work to advance health equity and address social determinants.”
